China's space program has taken a significant step forward with the procurement of a TESTEQ thermal vacuum chamber. This advanced equipment is set to play a crucial role in simulating the harsh conditions of space, enabling more accurate testing of space - bound components and technologies.


The TESTEQ thermal vacuum chamber comes with a set of impressive technical specifications. It can reach a high vacuum level of 5.0×10−7 mbar, and the no - load vacuum level at room temperature is also 5.0×10−7 mbar. The pressure regulation in multiple ranges at room temperature spans from 1.0×10-2 to 1.0×10−6 mbar/Torr. The vacuum cube leak rate is extremely low, at ≤ 1×10-9 std/cc/sec, ensuring a highly stable vacuum environment.


In terms of temperature performance, the chamber offers excellent temperature uniformity of ±2℃. It has a rapid temperature - changing ability. The temperature rising rate from +70℃ to - 50℃ is at least 3℃/min, and the falling speed rate from +20℃ to +125℃ is also ≥ 3℃/min.


Thermal vacuum (TVC) chambers, like the one procured by China's space agency, are designed to replicate the temperature and pressure conditions of the space environment. These chambers can generally achieve a temperature range from - 180°C to +145°C. Moreover, by using a cryocooler within the chamber, an extremely low temperature of 2.6K can be reached.
