Precautions During The Use Of The Vibration Shaker

Precautions during the use of the vibration shaker

As an essential vibration testing equipment in the aircraft, ship, rocket, missile, automobile, battery, and home appliance industries, the vibration shaker has a force ranging from hundreds of Newtons to thousands of Newtons. During use, improper use often causes damage to the vibration shaker and even affects people's safety. Next, let's take a look at what precautions need to be taken when using the vibration table.

Equipment installation

Only trained technical personnel can install the vibrator system to avoid danger. During fixture installation, standing on the vibration shaker table can cause many hazards, including falling, slipping, and finger injuries. It is recommended to stick anti slip straps in positions where technicians may stand to reduce the risk of slipping. Alternatively, the footstool eliminates the need for technicians to climb onto the vibration table system. Customers and guests should not climb the vibrating screen or attempt to secure the fixing device with bolts, as there is a risk of falling or improperly connecting the fixing device or equipment.

Travel limit

The maximum stroke of the standard electromagnetic shaker is usually ±25mm, which is enough to meet the general sinusoidal sweep vibration and the broadband random vibration with a frequency bandwidth of 10Hz-2KHz. The 3-500Hz road traffic spectrum simulation test is limited by the large displacement of low frequency. Some electromagnetic shaker used for shock simulation tests increase the maximum stroke to ±30-50mm, but for classical waveform shocks and the impulse response spectrum of long pulses, the required maximum stroke must be estimated in advance for implementation.

Eccentric load capacity

The off-load capacity of the electromagnetic shaking table refers to the maximum off-load mass that it can withstand. Off-load refers to the uneven mass or distribution placed on the electromagnetic vibration table, which causes the center of mass of the vibration table to shift, thus affecting the stability and accuracy of the vibration table. When using an electromagnetic shaker, the limits of its off-load capacity should be observed, and the mass should be distributed as evenly as possible when placing the sample to avoid vibration instability or imbalance due to off-load. If you need to carry out experiments beyond the bearing capacity of the vibration shaker, you should choose a shaker with a larger load capacity or take other measures to ensure the safety and accuracy of the experiment.

Noise background

The background noise of the vibration shaker is an important basic parameter that determines its dynamic range. The size of the background noise first depends on the effectiveness of the vibration shaker, the design and manufacturing process of the moving ring and other factors. When the suspension voltage of the vibrating table surface is too high, or the insulation between the sensor and the vibrating table surface is not good, the background noise will be higher. Therefore, the "pressure control" ability of the vibration shaker table is reduced, and the peak-valley difference in the dynamic response characteristics can not be eliminated well, so that the vibration control precision is significantly reduced.
